Automotive Service Association of Connecticut Hosts Golf Outing to Benefit Military Support Organization

Middlefield, CT — Over 90 Golfers recently attended The Automotive Service Association of Connecticut’s sixth annual golf outing at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield CT, where monies were raised to donate to various veteran’s organization in Connecticut.

“ASA – CT’s annual golf outing raises funds each year to give to local charities within the state,” stated Lisa Siembab, ASA – CT Executive Director. This year we chose Enfield HOOAH located in Enfield, Connecticut. Enfield Hooah is responsible for a number of community-based projects that support active military members and their families at home.

The organization regularly sends care packages to active members of the military who are from the Enfield area. The group also participates in special projects such as Wreaths Across America and Cookies for Camouflage.

Lori Gates, who founded the organization, has a passion for helping the military, as her husband served 24 years in the U.S. Army. She works tirelessly for the men and women who have served and are actively serving.

“We are honored to have an opportunity to help this wonderful project in just a small way. We will be donating monies and supplies to help with the soldier care packages in the fall.” Siembab stated.
